Where Your Funds Go

Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation have used the funds raised by putt4dough towards the construction of a play structure as part of the refurb of the PMH Psychological Medicine Patient Waiting Area and the purchase of Panvisus Compact Rondo refraction units.

Record Breaking

This year we had more players and more sponsors and we gave a bigger cheque to PMHF. Thank you for your support sponsors and players.

The third putt4dough IT Golf Charity event will be held at Burswood Park Golf Course on Thursday, 1st November 2012.

Happy People

PMH Foundation were happy with our collective efforts to raise $23,000. We (Chris and Tony) are absolutely blown away with the generosity of the sponsors and the enthusiasm from so many people to join in and support a worthwhile cause, while enjoying a game of Golf on a rather bleak day amongst friends in the industry.

From Jethro Baker of the Command Group, "Thanks for organizing the golf day yesterday. Despite the weather we had a great day out, the golf wasn't good  (is it ever)  but the craic was great."

Mike Nunn, one of our two winners said, "Thanks for arranging the putt4dough golf day and congratulations on a  great result for both a really enjoyable day and raising sizable funds for PMH."

From David Sullivan at HP, "Thanks for organising a fantastic event - hats off to you both for raising that much money. I will be ensuring there is a big turnout from HP next year as it really is a great day."

James Turner of Fujitsu, the other winner, said, "Thanks for organising another great day of golf. "

Ken Maynard loved it so much he's coming back next year: "...it was a great day despite the weather.  Incidentally, if you are looking for any assistance with next year's event  I am happy to offer my time."

Gareth Mahon of KPMG summed up the spirit of the day in saying, "Thank you for organising the putt4dough event, and inviting KPMG to be a sponsor. It is a very worthwhile cause and we are proud to be a part of it. It was a very enjoyable day, and I even managed to make some new friends at IBM! Given that it was such a success, I hope that you intend to run it again next year."

Dave Cameron from VMWare enjoyed himself even though he couldn't stay for dinner, "Just wanted to thank you for a great day at Putt4Dough, I had to rush off and have been travelling since, but in spite of the weather I had a great day.  I trust you met your objectives with the fundraising and look forward to taking part next year."

Lindsay Campbell at Oracle has laid down a challenge to the organisers, "I just wanted to thank you for another great Putt4Dough event.  Despite the weather it was a well organised event which provided fun and enjoyment while achieveing the main objective of raising funds for PMH. I challenge you to make it 3 wet events in a row :-)"

Tim Teather of Spatial Solutions reinforcing why we are doing this, "Another great day yesterday!  Thanks to both of you for putting together putt4dough yesterday. It is fantastic to be part of and I enjoyed the whole event immensely. Now my kids are taking trips to PMH (we only just got one out), you really realise the benefit that is being generated for a great cause. If you do decide to put together a third year, I'll be there."

Why are we doing this?

The kids of today are our future. So lets do our little bit to help the thousands of sick and injured children. By supporting the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation we are helping to improve the quality of life of all sick West Australian children.

Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation is the official fundraising body for Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (PMH), Western Australia's only specialist children's hospital.

Since the Foundation was first established in 1998, they have raised more than $30 million to fund life-saving research and capital projects. They have also funded close to a quarter of the equipment currently used by the hospital.

These incredible results for thousands of sick and injured children are made possible by the ongoing support of people like you.

Thank you for 'caring for kids' and for helping to give them a brighter future.

New PMH

A new children's hospital for Western Australia was announced by the State Government in 2008 to replace Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.  

Construction on the new hospital is scheduled to start in 2012.
